SALVATORE CAROVILLA PHOTOGRAPHY                                                 

Salvatore Carovilla was born in Italy. He picked up photography as a hobby in 1986 and quickly made it his profession. He worked as both a photojournalist and fashion photographer and in later years developed a commercial photography business. But in tandem with his commerical projects, Salvatore never ceased pursuing photography as an artistic endeavor, always trying new subjects and new techniques in ways that could express his sensibilities.

Salvatore has also traveled extensively on assignment for stock photo agencies, visiting no less than 18 countries.  His work demonstrates how he inspired he was by the people, places, and cultures that he found.

Through these experiences, he developed his own photographic philosophy and has become an expert at translating his vision of nature, food, electronics, toys, architecture, fashion and everyday people into 2D works of art. Salvatore has received rave reviews for his exhibitions in both Milan and the United States, and an outstanding response to his two self-published books. His keen eye for capturing comparisons and contrasts is expressed in a style that is both pleasing to the eye and interesting to contemplate.
